A city with many faces, Nice is festive in its old town, bourgeois in its Belle Époque districts and popular at the back of its port.

On the sea side, the open view stretches to the Cap d'Antibes: a painting that inspired more than one painter charmed by these Provencal colors. Modigliani, Matisse, Soutine or Utrillo were seduced by the light of this medieval city and put on their easel these breathtaking views. At the entrance to the village, in the shade of large plane trees, is the famous "place du jeu de boules", immortalized by the pétanque games of Lino Ventura and Yves Montand, remains a must.
